Absinthe from Spain

Next to Switzerland and France, Spain is the third country that looks back onto a long Absinth tradition. Furthermore, Absinth has never been prohibited in Spain which is why the use of Absinth has survived there in small distilleries.

Ernest Hemingway, who lived a long time in Spain was a enthusiastic Absinth drinker/consumer. Other than the traditional way of drinking, Hemingway preferably used Absinth in his favourite cocktail „Death In The Afternoon“: 4cl Absinth together with 2 ice cubes in a glass, top up with Champagne and enjoy!
