service provider, which you always may contact with any concerns or
suggestions on the subject of data privacy by using the contact
information provided in the Editorial Information or at the end of this

With this Privacy Policy, we would like to give you a better understanding of what happens with your data when you visit our websites, order via these or use or request other options or offers (e.g. sign up for a newsletter).

When you

you do not send this information actively to us. We thus receive

d) Withdrawal of consents
You can
withdraw consents which you have given via our websites at any time

The revocation of your consent does not cause any costs, with the exception of possible forwarding and connection fees.

especially refer to your surfing behavior can be analyzed without your

3) Usage data
a) For what purpose do we use your usage data
Furthermore,
we receive the information about your usage behavior, i.e. how you used
our websites or newsletter, for example, what you found interesting on
our website or in the newsletter and whether and what have bought, but
also the website which you last visited (hereinafter "usage data"). By
using our websites and newsletter, you agree that your usage data may be
collected, processed and used as described below.
We use your
usage data to design our websites and to optimize them as well as to
present our offers to you in a better way. The usage data are initially
collected in so-called usage profile pseudonymously, it means that your
usage data are not stored under your real name, but under a pseudonym
(for instance, by using the number).
b) How do we receive your usage data?
The
pseudonymized usage profile is created by using so-called cookies und
tracking pixel. Cookie is a small text file placed by our websites
locally on your device (for example, PC, Tablet, or Smartphone) to be
held for a later retrieval. This enables us to recognize your browser at
a later visit. Tracking pixels, however, are small image files that are
integrated mainly into our newsletters and help us to determine whether

c) How can you in generally object to the collection of usage data?
As
stipulated by law, you have a right to object in relation to the use of
cookies as well as of tracking pixels. You can generally object to the
use of the cookies and tracking pixel with the effect for the future, as
far as these are used to record and analyze your usage behavior. You
can object by using a so-called "Adblocker", by installing expansions
(so-called "Add-ons") for your browser that with an appropriate
configuration can impede that your usage behavior will be recorded by
us. Please note that it possible that an AdBlocker must be specially
configured if this shall block cookies and/or tracking pixel originated

d) What third party technologies do we use and how can you object?
In order to collect your usage data we also use the following solutions and technologies from third party providers:
Google AdWords
We
use the product Google AdWords, a product of Google Inc., 1600
Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (hereinafter
"Google").
Google uses the so-called Conversion Tracking Technology.
This technology sets a cookie from Google on the device of such visitors
of our websites that reach our websites through clicking an
advertisement of Google. The cookies are effective for 30 days.
As
long as these cookies are in effect Google and we are able to determine
that a user has clicked on such an advertisement and reached the
website previously defined. When reaching our websites on the device of
such visitors a tracking-pixel will be set that enables us to determine
whether the visitor has issued an order and, if so, to what order value.
We thereby do not receive any information regarding the identity of
respective website visitors; rather, we only get information about the
total number of visitors that have been redirected to our
conversion-site through a Google advertisement as well as potential

Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a
web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google
Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files which are stored on your
computer, allowing your use of the website to be analysed. The
information about your use of the website generated by the cookie is
typically transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
However, if IP anonymisation has been activated on this website, your IP
address will be truncated beforehand within member states of the
European Union or in other states which are party to the Treaty on the
European Economic Area. Only in exceptional circumstances will the full
IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated

Facebook Pixel
A pixel from Facebook Ireland
Limited is integrated into this website (website custom audience pixel).
Through this pixel, information about the use of this website (e.g.
information about viewed articles) is collected by Sensatonics GmbH and
Facebook Ireland Limited in joint responsibility and transmitted to
Facebook Ireland Limited. This information can be assigned to your
person with the help of further information that Facebook Ireland
Limited has stored about you, e.g. due to your ownership of an account
on the social network "Facebook". The information collected via the
pixel can be used to display interest-based advertisements about our
offers in your Facebook account (retargeting). The information collected
via the pixel may also be aggregated by Facebook Ireland Limited and
the aggregated information may be used by Facebook Ireland Limited for
its own advertising purposes as well as for advertising purposes of
third parties. For example, Facebook Ireland Limited may infer certain
interests from your browsing behaviour on this website and may also use
this information to promote third party offers. Facebook Ireland Limited
may also combine the information collected via the pixel with other
information that Facebook Ireland Limited has collected about you via
other websites and / or in connection with your use of the social

ordering data as well as your service requests that we for example may
receive if you use the feedback function on our websites for marketing
purposes. We do that in order to improve our product assortment and our
online ordering service and to address you for example via mail or
electronically, for example via email, with individualized product
information (please also note our information in Section I-3a). As part
of so-called customer segmentation, this makes it necessary to assign
you to a categorized group of customers (e. g. "regular customer").
If
you want to avoid that we use your data for these purposes, you can
object to this use at any time with effect for the future by sending us

your data may be used only in an anonymous form for marketing purposes.
In such case, personalized information regarding your person will only
be used to process your orders and will be blocked for other purposes.
Therefore, please note that we are then no longer able to send you any
catalogues.
Please note that you have to object separately to the
use of your usage data for marketing purposes due to technical reasons.
In this matter, please follow the instructions as stated in Section
I-3) above.
If you like to unsubscribe from our newsletters and
withdraw your respective consent or if you like to withdraw your consent
in terms of the use of your data for marketing purposes in general,
please follow the instructions in Section I-2d).
III) Receive external parties your data?
We are using external service providers for the collection and analysis of your usage data as described in Section I-3d) above.
Our
websites are hosted on the servers of Wieske"s Crew GmbH, Süderstr.
195, 20537 Hamburg. This company saves your data and voluntary
information for us, updates it to your notice, and keeps it ready for
use by us. Since Sensatonics is the user of your data, we are still
responsible for the security of your data. Please note that a change of
this service provider is possible at any time.
In all other
respects, we only pass on your data as far as this is necessary for the
establishment, execution or termination of a contract between you and
us, e.g. to logistics companies, when you order goods from us or to
process your payment transactions.
A disclosure of your data is
further possible if we have a concrete reason to believe that your basic
data were used to commit a crime (e.g. fraud) against us (hereinafter
"suspicious case"). For such suspicious case, we reserve the right to
disclose your data to law enforcement authorities (especially Police and
Prosecution Office), especially in connection with reporting an
offence. We also reserve this right if a law enforcement authority asks
us to reveal information regarding your person. Furthermore, we reserve
the right to terminate your customer account and exclude you from
further orders if a suspicion case is given.
A disclosure of your data to other external parties does not take place.
IV) How secure are your data?
To
ensure that no personal information get lost during the transmission
modern SSL encryption technologies do apply. Depending on the browser
used by you encryptions and key lengths up to 128 bit are possible.

legislature has issued a variety of storage obligations and deadlines.
After expiration of these deadlines, the corresponding data will be
routinely deleted. If data are not affected, they will be deleted if the
purposes mentioned under 5) are omitted.

A transfer to third countries is not planned.
