Huichol Copal
Tree resins in corn leaf
This very special and rare copal is collected by the Huicholes in the rainforests of Mexico. It is heated, purified, poured into corn leaves and ceremonially consecrated and blessed. The trade in copal enables the Huicholes to maintain their tradition and culture and to protect their sacred areas.
You just need a little for an incense – simply scrape a little resin over the charcoal with a knife and a wonderful fragrance is released. The smoke has a relaxing, balancing, harmonising, grounding and healing effect.
