Amber
Succinit, pure resin
Amber is a fossil resin that was already excreted by trees in prehistoric times. The German name Bernstein comes from "Brennstein", as it burns well. However, amber only develops its resinous scent, which is partly pine-like, partly somewhat heavy and myrrh-like, when it slowly smoulders.
In ancient times, amber was revered as the "gold of the north" or as the "tears of the sun daughters", which, in addition to the allusion to the main places of discovery in the Baltic at that time, may refer to its interesting mixture of sunny, positive and serious, purposeful energy. Its smoke is therefore nearly ideal for processing and integrating “old issues”
