The strong, fine-tart china gunpowder with its spherical, hard-rolled leaf has been produced in China for centuries. The tea leaves are heated and rolled for drying. This produces the characteristic leaf globules, which fully unfold again when infused.

Preparation:
Per litre, according to taste, 3 to 4 teaspoons of China gunpowder with 1 litre of 70-80° hot water. Allow it to steep for 2 to 3 minutes. You can infuse the tea twice, if you like.
