Cordyceps Mushroom Extract Capsules

The “Caterpillar mushroom” (bot. Ophiocordyceps sinensis), also known as Cordyceps, originated in the highland plateaus of Tibet where it grows in caterpillars of the variety Thiratodes. Its Tibetan name “Jartsa Gunbu” means ‘Summergrass-Winterworm’ . This mushroom type has been gathered and used for at least 1000 years and is highly revered in traditional Tibetan and Chinese medicine. The caterpillar mushroom is said to have body strengthening and stabilising properties. Apparently, the successes of the Chinese athletes during the Olympic Games 1992 are believed to have been contributed to the consumption of the fungus. Meanwhile, Cordyceps have been put on the list of restricted doping agents.

The Cordyceps vitality mushroom extract that we offer is produced through a careful hot-water extraction process. Through this process, the extract is about 30 percent higher and richer in polysaccharides, an important active ingredient of the mushroom.

Our Cordyceps extract comes from controlled organic farming and is produced via controlled hot-water extraction process. Because of this process, the resulting extract contains 20–30% more mushroom poly-saccharides than the pure powder.

One capsule contains about 350 mg dry extract containing: 75,3 % organic mushroom extract, 4,3 % Organic Acerola extract as a natural source of Vitamin C (increasing the availability of polysaccharides) and 20,4 % capsule hull made of natural cellulose.

Recommended dose:

Twice daily 1 capsule with a glass of water before or after meals.
