Coriolus mushroom extract capsules, organic
The Turkey tail
The Turkey tail (bot .: Coriolus versicolor), also native to Germany, is a wood decomposer found on practically all types of wood. Its outer shape corresponds to a wind instrument (Tramete) and it often takes on a lot of beautiful colors (versicolor). This Porling is relatively unknown in Europe, whereas it is one of the most popular medicinal mushrooms in Asia and the USA. There the Coriolus is intensively researched and also grown commercially on a large scale. It contains highly active substances - u. a. Krestin (PSK) and PSP - whose strong tumor-inhibiting and antiviral properties have been proven through various studies. In China, Japan and also in Mexico, the mushroom is traditionally used to strengthen the constitution, increase energy and treat various inflammations and infections.
The Coriolus mushroom extract we offer comes from controlled organic cultivation and is produced by gentle hot water extraction. As a result, the extract is enriched with the important mushroom ingredients (polysaccharides) approx. 20 - 30% higher than the pure powder.
One capsule contains 350 mg of dry extract, which consists of 75,3% mushroom extract, 4.3% organic acerola extract as a natural source of vitamin C (increases the bioavailability of the polysaccharides) and 20,4% capsule shell which is made from natural cellulose.
