Maca is a millennia-old cultivated plant of the Incas and has always been highly valued by the inhabitants of Peru as a vitalizing food. Maca grows only in the Peruvian Andes from an altitude of about 4,000 meters. The intense sun, the strong winds and the low temperatures in this mountainous region give the maca root a very high nutritional value. It is rich in proteins, sugars, starch, vitamins and essential minerals. Therefore, maca is extremely popular today as a dietary supplement to strengthen physical and mental resilience.
From the Andes of Peru, our maca is grown organically and carefully processed by a certified family business. It contains yellow, red, black and purple maca roots in a balanced ratio to take advantage of the specific properties of each variety and thus obtain a particularly high-quality maca powder.
To increase bioavailability, the capsules also contain 16.7% organic acerola powder. Acerola cherries are among the fruits richest in vitamin C and protect our cells from oxidative stress.
