The block consists of 100% unroasted cacao beans of the rare fine cacao variety Arriba Nacional and is ideal for making ceremonial cacao, as drinking chocolate or for baking, cooking and as a snack. It comes from small farming cooperatives in Ecuador, where the cacao grows together with various fruit trees. This gives the beans their flowery, nutty taste - their fine acidity is reminiscent of mangoes and oranges. The homogeneous cacao is processed to a very high quality and is characterized by its delicate melting texture. Its broad, chocolatey aroma profile has a pleasantly stimulating effect.
