The drops are made from the original cocoa variety "Cacao Beniao", which grows wild in the Beni region of the Bolivian rainforest and is traditionally harvested and fermented by the locals. With its woody, earthy flavour, this cocoa is ideal for cocoa ceremonies, drinking chocolates or for eating raw. Its mild flavour makes it ideal for a smooth evening cocoa. These earthy, chocolaty raw cocoa drops with their slightly floral flavour can be eaten raw or used for ceremonial cocoa, baked goods or savoury sauces. The drops contain 100% cocoa and are traded fairly and directly.
