The vegan cocoa powder consists of 100% of the rare Arriba Nacional fine cocoa variety from Ecuador. The beans for this powder with its unique, complex taste are grown fairly and organically by small farmers in the Ecuadorian provinces of Los Ríos, Manabí, Esmeraldas and Pichincha. The cocoa trees grow in mixed culture between other hardwoods and fruit trees such as orange, mango and avocado trees. This gives the beans their floral, nutty taste - their delicate acidity is reminiscent of mangoes and oranges.
Due to its minimal processing, the powder retains its valuable nutrients and is ideal for making healthy smoothies, drinking chocolate and baked goods.
Recommended dosage:
Dissolve 15 g of fine cocoa powder in 250 ml of warm plant milk and add coconut blossom sugar and your favorite spices to taste. With a small pinch of salt, the wonderful cocoa taste comes into its own even better.
