White Sage - Invocation

White sage, also called buffalo sage, is highly prized by First Nations. The strong cleansing effect of the smoke promotes peace and healing. White sage grows in the arid deserts of the American Southwest and is considered a male incense plant. Its essential oil extracted from the leaves also has antiseptic, astringent and antifungal properties. It can be applied to the skin diluted with vegetable oil to treat fungal diseases, eczema and burns. Sprayed pure on furniture, carpets or curtains, the oil provides a clean, clear atmosphere.
